A Christmas Carols Free Zone.

If you have been out in the world lately you may have noticed that Christmas Music is everywhere. It doesn't matter if you're in Cobble Hill or Qualicum Beach or Duncan or Nanaimo or Victoria... you will hear it.  It's on the radio, it's on the TV (I don't watch TV but people tell me Christmas music is there). In my opinion, I think it's all a bit much.  I like the holiday season and everything, but every waking minute for a month doesn't need to be saturated with it.

So if you come into Bucknucks when Cameron is working, you won't hear them.  I may play some on December 24th, but I may not.  It will depend whether I want to hear Bob and Doug like I do every year. I'm afraid the deluge of Sarah Brightman, Enya, Loreena McKennitt, Diana Krall, Melody Gardot, and all the others who make up our playlists will continue as always.  I don't pretend to speak for my wife or for the other members of the team, so they may get their "Joyeux Noel" going on.  But probably not.
