Policy

Over the years we have had a pretty lax dog policy here at Bucknucks. We were happy to allow the four legged members of your family to come inside the store.
 
Those days are over.
 
There are four main reasons: allergies, phobias, urine and feces. In the last year we have had 1st hand experience with all of these. Particularly galling were the dog owners who decided it was the job of our staff to clean up after their animal without even saying thank you or apologizing for the puddle (or the stink).
 

 
It's been almost three years since we opened our doors here at Bucknucks. In that time we have accepted four thousand six hundred and twenty three requests for books (4623). Of those, we have managed to fill nine hundred (900) requests.
 
That is roughly one in five requests that is being filled, or 20%. It has been a while since I was in school, but I believe that is a failing grade. This is an area we need to get better.
